I truly cannot understand this still exists nearly six years after my previous post on this! A full green light with a red arrow. Not confused? Start counting the number of times you saw people driving on because they never saw the red arrow… Sure, I am not in front of the light and there is a duplicate arrow on the left. But this is all about risk mitigation.
The solution: A simple blanking sticker turning the full green light into a straight and right arrow makes it unambiguous for everyone. I agree, an additional cost to put the blanking sticker, but compared to the cost of possible accidents happening. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
