Upset Recovery guidance

Loss of Control In-Flight is a serious hazard and has already claimed many lives. Therefore aircraft upset recovery training (UPRT) has become mandatory worldwide. Unfortunately, the guidance provided in some company’s Computer Based Training (CBT) ios sometimes confusing.

Note: there is no restriction to use up to full rudder deflection if needed. 
However observe, there is a risk of inappropriate rudder input by the pilot.

So what is it now? Should pilots use the rudder or not? And if yes, how much – because they may risk given an inappropriate input…

Luckily the training also features practical simulator exercises so any inaccuracies can be taken away by the instructor. At least for this issue.
