The A320 documentation describes the case where the aircraft may pitch up when commanding a descent. While the behaviour is documented in the Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM) and seems to be inherent to only one of two possible brands of Flight Management & Guidance Systems (Thales), it is mentioned on a single page of the 5500 pages. Easy to miss.
